| Why should I buy a diamond at Landmark? |
| |
| Landmark Diamonds is the only company in the country that
mines, cuts, wholesales and sell directly to the public. This
enables us to pass along both quality and value to our customers.
Because we began as a strictly wholesale operation, we are located
in an office setting. Our staff is small and highly trained,
so you'll never see people just standing around behind counters
getting paid to wait for customers to wander in. Everyone in
our office is involved in both the public and wholesale side
of the business…so the fun never ends!!! Our low overhead
means our prices will consistently be lower than the "competition"
-guaranteed. Don't be captivated by the opulence of fancy jewelry
stores...their high overhead means high prices for you. We promise
you will find your visit with us a very interesting experience
that is easy, fun and a little romantic with absolutely no pressure.
We also offer a 30-day unconditional money back guarantee on
diamonds. |

| Why do you recommend buying certificate diamonds? |
| |
| Most of our inventory is made up of diamonds that have been graded by one of two independent gemological laboratories…the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and the EGL-USA. These are the two most respected gemological laboratories in the world. Neither the GIA nor the EGL-USA engage in the buying, selling or trading of diamonds. Their independent status enables them to issue an unbiased evaluation of the stones sent to them for certification. Each certificate indicates the color, clarity, carat weight, proportions and other specifications relevant to the grading of the diamond. In this way you can be assured of the quality of the diamond you are purchasing. |

| What do you mean when you say you mine diamonds? |
| |
| It will be two years this June since we began our mining operation in Kono, West Africa. We currently hold over 45 leases of diamond bearing property which we are now excavating. Our partner in Kono moved from Minneapolis two years ago to oversee the mining part of our business. We are proud to be signatories of the Kimberley Process, which was initiated over 2-½ years ago and ensures that the governments of diamond producing countries get the duties to which they are entitled. We are currently in the process of creating a DVD showing our mine and the process by which we recover diamond rough… from digging out the diamond bearing gravels to our washing plant where the diamonds are separated from the soil that surrounds them. Once we receive the rough, we sub-contract with diamond cutters in the U.S. as well as have stones cut by our own full-time cutter who is located in our office. We hope to have this DVD available for our customers to enjoy by early summer. |

| What does the fact that you mine your own diamonds mean to me? |
| |
| It means that the customer skips at least two tiers of middlemen
when they buy at Landmark. Because we own the diamonds when
they come out of the ground, they come straight to us to be
cut and polished and then sold on the wholesale market or to
one of our public customers. That means there is no one brokering
the rough for a percentage to a wholesaler who tacks on his
percentage to another dealer who tacks on their percentage to
a jewelry store that marks it up even more. At Landmark we use
the old adage that the shortest distance between two points
is a straight line…from our mine in West Africa to our
office in Minneapolis. And we pass on the savings to you. |

| Why aren't other diamond businesses like
Landmark Diamonds? |
| |
| We pride ourselves in staying ahead of the ever-evolving diamond
business. According to an account of meetings at diamond conferences
in both New York and Antwerp, Belgium, as reported by the GIA's
Loupe Magazine, Winter 2004 issue, there are major changes forecasted
when it comes to the way diamond business will be done in the
future. It seems that the prediction is that by 2028 most of
the major players in the diamond business will have become vertically
integrated which means a company will have a major stake in
all aspects of the business from the mine direct to the customer.
So Landmark is doing in 2004 what others will be doing in 2028.
It's nice to know we are ahead of our time!! |

| All this talk about diamonds...what about
rings and jewelry? |
| |
| Although our main emphasis is on diamonds, we do realize you
want to have something beautiful to put them in, so we have
assembled an extensive inventory of designer engagement and
wedding rings, as well as pendants, earrings and more. We have
a design specialist that will help you make sure you get the
ring you've always wanted for the best price possible. And if
by chance we don't have exactly what you are looking for, we
can source out whatever you have in mind. |

| Why buy a diamond at Landmark Diamonds? |
| |
| Everyone has heard of the 4 C's of diamond buying: Clarity,
color, cut and carat weight. At Landmark we have added two more
equally important C's to this list: Certification and Cost!
It is our wish that anyone who buys a diamond from us leaves
knowing that they have gotten the best diamond to suit their
needs for the best possible price. Knowledge is power and we
believe that educating our clients about diamonds is one of
the most important things we do. |
